Visual Inspection Testing (VT)

 

Visual Inspection, or Visual Testing (VT), is the oldest and most basic method of inspection. It is the process of looking over a piece of equipment using the naked eye to look for flaws. It requires no equipment except the naked eye of a trained inspector.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

 

Magnetic particle Testing (MPT) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) process for detecting surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and some of their alloys. Magnetic field is used in the testing process of a certain part or surface.

Eddy Current Testing (ET)

 

Eddy Current inspection is one of several NDT methods using the principle of electromagnetism to examine the needed part or surface. Other methods, such as remote field testing (RFT), flux leakage and Barkhausen noise, also use this principle.

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

 

Ultrasonic testing (UT) comprises a range of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques that send ultrasonic waves through an object or material. These high frequency sound waves are transmitted into materials to characterise the material or for flaw detecting. Most UT inspection applications use short pulse waves with frequencies ranging from 0.1-15 MHz, although frequencies up to 50 MHz can be used. One common application for this test method is ultrasonic thickness measurement, which is used to ascertain the thickness of an object such as when assessing pipework corrosion.

Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)

 

Dye penetrant inspection (DP), also called liquid penetrate inspection (LPI) or penetrant testing (PT), is a widely applied and low-cost inspection method used to check surface-breaking defects in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics). The penetrant may be applied to all non-ferrous materials and ferrous materials, although for ferrous components magnetic-particle inspection is often used instead for its subsurface detection capability. LPI is used to detect casting, forging and welding surface defects such as hairline cracks, surface porosity, leaks in new products, and fatigue cracks on in-service components.

Wet Fluorescent Magnetic Test (WFMT)

 

This technique requires the use of UV light in a darkened environment. This is the most sensitive MPI technique and used extensively in the Power Generation and Petrochemical Industry during maintenance inspections. Electromagnet or Portable AC/DC Coil units are used for this inspection technique.

Rope Access Rigging & Lifting

 

Rope Access rigging & lifting is an excellent solution for installation of both small and large objects such as topsides in the offshore industry. When there is no available infrastructure, we can install, test and certify the required anchor points. After completion of the project, we remove these temporary facilities.

Blasting and painting 

 

Rope Access is the preferred method for blasting and painting work on high buildings for a number of reasons. Firstly, rope access is a much cheaper alternative to erecting work at height solutions such as scaffolding. Secondly, rope access has logistical benefits in that it requires no machinery or heavy equipment which can not only disrupt foot-flow on the ground outside your building but it also bad for the environment. Lastly, rope access is incredibly safe and fast, meaning painting work can be carried out efficiently and quickly.

Industrial Insulation Services

 

Rope Access rigging & lifting is an excellent solution for installation of both small and large objects such as topsides in the offshore industry. Welding, Cutting

 

Rope Access supported welders are more cost effective and agile in comparison to conventionally supported workers. This is because rope access requires considerably less infrastructure and setup than scaffolding, elevated platforms and other structurally supported access means. Rope Access Construction workers also have some of the most enviable safety records around, ensuring that the repair job will be as low risk as possible.

Rope Access in the Wind Energy Industry

 

We can access inspection and maintenance of utility-scale wind turbine blades and towers. Our rope access teams provide expedient and cost-effective service because they don't rely upon lifts or cranes to complete most work. The work is completed safely, efficiently, and economically with a focus on minimizing downtime of the asset.
